OUR COMPANY
PT Communication Cable Systems Indonesia Tbk. (CCSI) is a leader in the fiber optic cable manufacturing industry in Indonesia. CCSI is known as a manufacturer of high-quality premium fiber optic cables. CCSI has the ability to produce a variety of indoor and outdoor fiber optic cables. Currently, CCSI is the only fiber optic cable manufacturer in Indonesia that is capable of producing submarine cables. Each cable is designed for a variety of uses and conditions. Fiber optics are guaranteed to be pull-free and without strain effects during production, storage and installation. This is to ensure a long cable life and optimal data carrying capacity.
CCSI's factory has a production capacity of 1,600,000 km of fiber optics per year. The factory is located in the Krakatau Industrial Estate in Cilegon, Banten; Meanwhile, the Sales & Marketing Office is located in Jakarta. In addition to fiber optic cables, CCSI also offers a complete range of optical cable accessories (tip-to-tip). We also produce HDPE subducts and Microducts. As part of its diversification strategy, starting in 2014, the company also manufactures HDPE pipes and Reinforced Thermoplastic Pipes (RTP) for the oil & gas industry.
HISTORY
Established in October 1996
Previously named PT Siemens Optical Cable, as a joint venture with Siemens AG (Germany). It was later acquired by Corning Inc (USA), and then taken over by CCS International. CCSI has a long partnership relationship with Corning, the world's largest optical fiber supplier.
FIBER OPTIC CABLE DEVELOPMENT
As a pioneer in the supply of repeaterless submarine fiber optic cables for the telecommunications, oil and gas sectors, CCSI has the capability to design and engineer fiber optic cables according to customer requirements
PRODUCT EXPANSION, MICRO CABLE INNOVATION
Following global developments, CCSI expands its products with Microduct and Microcabling technologies. CCSI engineers micro cables that can be pulled like regular duct cables, without the need to use an air compressor.
Launching of FAST Pipe (2014)
To support the government's initiatives, CCSI launched reinforced thermoplastic pipe products for natural gas or oil distribution. It has a spool length of 300-500 meters, is corrosion-free, is faster to connect than steel pipes, and reduces maintenance costs and total cost of ownership.
