About Jalapati
Jalapati is a submarine cable communication system (SKKL) network that connects Muncar (East Java) and Candikusuma (Bali), with a total distance of 45.7km, consisting of a dry plant network in Muncar 5.1 km, a wet plant or submarine network of 24.9 km and a dry plant network on the side of Candikusuma to the State along 15.7 km.
Jalapati has a capacity of 48 core fibers with G.652.D type optical fiber from Corning (USA). Jalapati services are available with a business model in the form of dark fiber rental contracts and IRU (indefeasible rights of use).

With the increasing need for broadband throughout Indonesia triggered by COVID-19, digitalization, and 4G networks in big cities, the need for a Submarine Cable Communication System or backbone is very important to strengthen the nation's connectivity. RTP pipes are used to protect offshore cable communication networks on the coast to reduce the risk of cable tearing due to fishing activities, which is one of the most common causes of cable tearing.
Strong Design and Long Lifespan:
The pipe has a life span of 20 years above ground and 50 years in underground (buried) installations. High level of reliability. No examination and maintenance is required.
No corrosion
Made from High Density Polythylene, a thermoplastic polymer in nature that exhibits excellent chemical resistance. FASTPipe® has no corrosion problems, has a high level of resistance to erosion and is scale-free, does not require cathodic protection and/or the addition of inhibitors.
